140+ years ago, Domenico Paone built his artisan pasta & bread shop in Formia Italy not far from Rome. Family generation after generation of master pasta makers have carried on the tradition of his artisan crafted pasta made solely from non GMO Italian wheat varieties and water sourced from the ancient spring at Capodacqua that dates back to 72 AD.
Each package of pasta contain a unique QR code that once scanned will take you to a unique webpage that lists cooking instructions and recipe ideas for the variety of pasta as well as an added bonus of information regarding the historical monument that has been printed on the package.
When we tried this pasta we knew immediately we had found THE PERFECT pasta for our gourmet grocery line. The amazing flavor and perfect texture will make you think you have just prepared freshly made pasta rather than dried.
Many of our customers that suffer from gluten intolerance or sensitivity tell us they digest this pasta easily and do not experience bloating. These customers do NOT HAVE celiac disease. Those with celiac disease SHOULD NOT consume this pasta.
